SSC Recruitment 2020 For 1,564 Sub-Inspectors In Delhi Police And CAPF, Apply Online Before July 16

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Govt. of India, has released an advertisement, invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling 1,564 vacancies to post of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) through direct recruitment. The application-cum-registration process towards the same started on June 17, 2020 and closes on July 16, 2020 by 11:30 pm with July 18, 2020 as the last date for paying the application fee by 11:30 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Sub-Inspectors post through SSC Recruitment 2020 must have attained 20 years of age and not be more than 25 years as on January 1, 2021 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST) 3 years (OBC/Ex-SM) and 35 years (Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 (Gen/UR/OBC) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/debit/credit, etc. payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/Women/ESM candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Sub-Inspectors post through SSC Recruitment 2020 must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Sub-Inspectors post through SSC Recruitment 2020 will be done through an Open Competitive Examination - Computer Based Examination scheduled on September 29, 2020 to October 5, 2020 (Paper I) and on March 1, 2021 (Paper II).

Candidates selected to Sub-Inspectors post through SSC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
