SSC MTS Exam Paper Leak: Commission Releases Notification

Following reports about the paper leak for the MTS (Non-Technical) Examination 2017, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently released an official notification regarding the on the official website.

What does the official notification say?

"It has come to the notice of the Commission that on a social media page, the question papers of the MTS Examination 2016, with some answers were uploaded after the commencement of the Morning as well as the Evening Sessions of the examination," the Commission said. "The Commission would be taking appropriate action against the vested interests in accordance with rules of the Commission and as per law," the notice added.

The SSC MTS question paper and the answer keys were available on social media on April 30, when the examination began.

What happened?

While reporting the event, Neetu Singh, the director of KD Campus, uploaded images of the question paper and sought assistance from the SSC and the PMO. On her Facebook page, as per reports, the director of the coaching provider institution asked the students about the paper and the same was confirmed.

Even on May 14, the question papers along with some answers were uploaded on a social media site after the exams commenced.

Exam dates

The exam was scheduled to be held on April 30, May 14, May 28, June 4 and June 11 at various test centres across the nation.
