The Tier 1, SSC MTS examination is all set to be conducted from tomorrow by the Staff Selection Commission. The notification for SSC MTS 2022 was released by the Staff Selection Commission earlier this year for 7301 vacancies of Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) & amp Multi Tasking Staff posts.
Candidates who applied for SSC MTS 2022 exam can download their admit cards from the Official website www.sscnr.nic.in The tier 1 examination is to be conducted from July 5 to July 22, 2022.

As per the notification SSC MTS tier 1 exam is to be conducted from tomorrow i.e. July 5, 2022. The exam will be conducted in 3 shifts. Candidates are advised to reach on reporting time to avoid last moment hassle. Here are the details of Shifts and Reporting time.

After downloading the admit card, take a printout of it. Candidates need to read all the instructions carefully especially dos and don'ts. Bring the essential documents that are mentioned in your SSC MTS admit card such as Identification proof, passport size photographs and a copy of admit card itself. Tier 1 examination is conducted in online mode with a duration of total 90 minutes. SSC MTS exam is of 100 marks which is divided into 4 parts. Questions from General English, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge are specifically asked in the exam.

Before applying for any exam the first question which is raised in our mind is related to salary. So the candidates who applied for the SSC MTS exam, will get a salary under pay band-1 as per pay matrix of 7th pay commission after getting shortlisted. The basic pay scale of shortlisted candidates will be Rs 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs 1,800. If we consider the take-home salary then it ranges between Rs 20,000 to 24,000 approximately.
To appear in the SSC MTS exam a candidate needs to pass matriculation i.e. class 10th examination from a recognized board.
The Staff Selection Commission has announced the vacancies for MTS in two categories. The age groups for Havaldar posts in CBN is between 18-25 years while for CBIC the age limit is between 18-27 years. Candidates who belong to the reserved categories are given age relaxation on the upper limit as per the government rules.
