The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), a central recruiting agency, has released the recruitment notification for the SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT). According to the official sources, the detailed SSC JHT recruitment notification to be released on August 1, 2019. However, it was delayed and the Commission released the notification on August 27.
SSC will be holding an open competitive computer-based examination for combined recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak. Interested candidates who meet all the eligibility requirements set by SSC can apply online.
Candidates with a master's from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level can apply for SSC JHT post. Age Limit
The upper age limit is 30 years for candidates. The age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen categories.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100. The fee should be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card. However, the application fee is relaxed for women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD categories.
How To Apply
Candidates need to submit the applications in online mode only on the official website of SSC (https://ssc.nic.in). One should remember that the last date to apply online is September 26, 2019.
Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be based on the written examination. It consists of two papers and Paper-I (Objective type) will be held on November 26, 2019. the exam date for Paper-II (conventional type) will be notified later. Paper-I consists of General Hindi and General English. 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
