SSC JHT 2024 Registration Deadline Ends Today: Important Details Here

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the application process for the SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) 2024 recruitment today, August 25. This recruitment drive aims to fill 312 vacancies across various government ministries and departments. According to the official notification, "The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an Open Competitive Computer-Based Examination for direct recruitment to Group B Non-Gazetted posts, including Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Senior Translator in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India."

SSC JHT Recruitment 2024: Key Dates

  • The deadline for online fee payments is August 26.
  • The application form correction window and online payment of correction charges will be available from September 4 to September 5.
  • The Computer-Based Examination (Paper-I) is scheduled between October and November 2024.

Available Posts and Pay Scales

The recruitment includes positions such as Translation Officer (JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS), Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ), and Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/Junior Translation Officer (JTO)/Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations. These roles fall under Level-6, with a pay scale ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

Additionally, Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)/Senior Translator (ST) positions are available in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations under Level-7, with a pay scale ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old as of August 1, 2024, meaning applicants should be born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2006.

Age relaxation is provided as follows:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  • OBC candidates: 3 years
  • PwD (Unreserved) candidates: 10 years
  • PwD (OBC) candidates: 13 years
  • PwD (SC/ST) candidates: 15 years
