SSC GD Recruitment 2022: More Than 24,000 Vacancies, Check Details Here
SSC GD Recruitment 2022: The Staff Selection Commission has invited applications for the recruitment of posts of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau, 2022. Read more details in this article.
Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in. The online GD application process started on 27 October 2022 and the last date for submission of SSC GD application form is 30 November 2022. The mode of SSC GD examination is computer based test (CBT). The exam is scheduled to be conducted in January, 2023.
SSC GD recruitment 2022: Vacancy Details
SSC recruitment is being conducted to fill 24369 vacancies for the posts of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in NCB.

- CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force): 8911
- AR (Assam Rifles): 1697
- ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police): 1613
- SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal): 1284
- SSF (Secretariat Security Force):103
- CISF (Central Industrial Security Force): 100
Note: As per the official notification, the vacancies are tentative. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the website of the Commission- ssc.nic.in.
SSC GD 2022 Recruitment: Important Dates
- Dates for submission of online applications: 27-10-2022 to 30-11-2022
- Last date and time for receipt of online applications: 30-11-2022 (23:00)
- Last date and time for generation of offline Challan: 30-11-2022(23:00)
- Last date and time for making online fee payment: 1-12-2022(23:00)
- Last date for payment through Challan (during Working hours of Bank): 1-12-2022
- Schedule of Computer Based Examination: January, 2023
SSC 2022 GD Recruitment: Age Limit
The age limit for candidates is 18-23 years as on 1-1-2023. Applicants should not have been born earlier than 2-1-2000 and later than 1-1-2005 in normal course. However, after relaxation of three years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 2-1-1997.
SSC GD Recruitment 2022: Application Fee
- The application fee for SSC GD registration is Rs. 100.
- For women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST & Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
SSC GD Recruitment 2022: Pay Scale
Pay Level-1(Rs.18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) for all others posts.
Steps to apply for SSC GD 2022 Recruitment
Candidates are advised to follow the below-given simple steps to apply for Staff Selection Commission GD (General Duty):
1, Go to the official site of SSC: ssc.nic.in.
2. If you are a new user then sign in or if already registered then login yourself.
3. Click on the link which denotes, "Recruitment for posts of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau, 2022."
4. You will be redirected to a new page. Fill in the application form with correct details.
5. Before submission of the online application, candidates must check that they have filled correct details in each field of the form. And then submit.
6. Download and take a printout of the same for future use.
Note: As per the official notification, after submission of the online application form, no change/ correction/ modification will be allowed under any circumstances. Requests received in this regard in any form like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained.
