The Staff Selection Commission has revised the SSC exam calendar 2021 for various recruitment examinations. It has revised the exam dates in view of the Assembly Elections in some States/UTs scheduled between March and April 2021. The official notice reads, "On October 7, 2020, the Commission had published tentative Calendar of Examinations to be held during the period from 01.10.2020 to 31.08.2021. However, in view of the Assembly Elections in some States/ UT during March-April, 2021."

It also reads, "There will be no change in the schedule of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination (Paper-II), 2019 to be held on 21.03.2021."
