The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2018 result. According to the official sources, SSC CHSL result 2018 Tier 2 was released on February 25, 2020. The Commission has declared the SSC CHSL result Tier 1 in September 2019. Candidates who have appeared for the Tier 2 written examination held on September 29, 2019, can visit the official website of SSC to check their result online. Candidates who have passed with flying colours should appear for the SSC CHSL Tier-III examination. Around 13.17 lakh candidates have appeared for the examination out of 29 lakh candidates had registered for the examination.

Candidates who have qualified in Tier-II written examination are eligible for the Tier-III, which is a Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test. The admit card for the examination will be released soon on the official website. The qualifying marks for Tier-II is 33 per cent. Candidates would be tested based on the requisite skills as required for the job. For Data Entry Operators or DEOs, candidates are required to have a Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.

The SSC has released the recruitment notification of CHSL for a total of 5789 posts. The SSC conducts CHSL to shortlist the candidates for various posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators. The selected candidates will be placed at various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.
