SSC CHSL 2024 application process starts for 3,712 vacancies, Check out for more details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) initiated the SSC CHSL 2024 application process on April 8. The deadline for completing the application form is scheduled for May 7, 2024. The SSC CHSL tier 1 examination is scheduled to take place in June-July, with the tier 2 exam dates to be announced subsequently. The SSC CHSL 2024 application form can be accessed on the official website - ssc.gov.in.

The number of vacancies specified in the notification is provisional, with the exact number to be determined later. The SSC stated, "Any updated vacancies, along with post-wise and category-wise vacancies, will be provided on the Commission's website (https://ssc.gov.in> Candidate's Corner> Tentative Vacancy) in due course."

SSC CHSL 2024 Vacancies

The recruitment campaign aims to occupy 3712 positions for roles such as Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator.

Age Limit

As of August 1, 2024, applicants must be between 18 and 27 years old, meaning they should have been born on or after August 2, 1997, and not after August 1, 2006. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable to candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Educational Qualifications

To qualify for the Data Entry Operator (DEO) role within the Department/Ministry, candidates must have completed 12th grade in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized board. For positions of LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade A, completion of Class 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board is required.
