The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be announcing the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier level 1 Examination on October 31, 2017. The candidates who wrote the examinations can check the results on the official website.
The candidates will be able to check the results only after the links are activated.
The Tier I examinations were conducted from August 5 to August 23, 2017. The examination for the SSC Tier I was conducted in 43 batches across India. A total of 15,43,962 candidates took up the SSC examination.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination
The examination, is an online computer based exam which consists of 100 questions. Each question consists of 2 marks. The duration for the SSC examination is 1 hour.
The examination paper is bifurcated into four parts A,B,C and D.
Each part consists of 25 questions each.The first part has general intelligence and reasoning. The second part consists of general awarenessThe third part focuses on quantitative aptitudeThe final and the fourth part has English comprehension. Negative marking of 0.5 is applied for each wrong answer
How to Check SSC CGL Tier I 2017 Results?
- Visit the official website -ssc.nic.in
- Find the link that reads - 'Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level (Tier 1) Examination, 2016'
- Click on 'Click Here' in the Result column.
- A list of candidates will be displayed.
- The list will contain serial number, the name of the candidate, roll number and the category in which the the candidate has qualified.
The SSC will be releasing the tentative answer key for the Tier 1 exam on September 18, 2017
