Key Exam Day Guidelines

To avoid any last-minute issues, aim to reach your exam centre at least 60 minutes before your scheduled time. It's crucial to bring a physical copy of your SSC CGL admit card 2024-entry will be denied without it. Alongside your admit card, make sure to carry two recent passport-sized photographs and a valid photo ID such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, or Passport.

If your photo ID doesn't include your date of birth, be prepared to show additional documents like your Class 10th certificate or birth certificate. Remember, mobile phones, smartwatches, and any electronic gadgets are strictly banned inside the examination hall, and possessing them could lead to disqualification.

Reporting Times and Shift Details

  • Shift 1: Report by 7:45 AM; Exam from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
  • Shift 2: Report by 10:30 AM; Exam from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is a test of four key sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section has 25 questions worth two marks each, adding up to a total of 100 questions and a maximum of 200 marks. You'll have one hour to tackle the exam, and those who succeed will move on to Tier 2.
