Know about the changes introduced in the SSC CGL exam pattern 2022

The Staff Selection Commission has revised the SSC CGL exam pattern Tier 2 for this year's recruitment. The commission has introduced new subjects, duration, and marking scheme for Tier 2, SSC CGL exam. The commission has released the SSC CGL notification for around 20,000 vacancies in different Group B and C vacancies.

As per the official notification, the application form filling for the SSC CGL exam commenced on September 17, 2022. The last date to fill the same is October 08, 2022. The complete schedule for the SSC CGL 2022 examination is going to be released in December 2022.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022 Revised

The commission has revised the exam pattern for SSC CGL tier 2 for this year's recruitment. Earlier, the tier 2 examination was held for four papers i.e. English, Mathematics, Accounts, and Statistics. However, this year, major changes have been introduced and the Tier 2 exam shall now have three papers.

Out of these three papers, paper 1 is compulsory, and papers 2 and 3 are optional. The details related to the newly introduced subjects in paper 1 can be checked in the section below.

The examination is going to be conducted in the computer-based test. As per the marking scheme, there will be negative marking equal to 0.50 marks for each answer marked wrongly by the candidate.
