The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of India has announced 17,727 openings for Group B and C positions in the SSC CGL 2024 exam. There will be two stages to the exam: Tier-1 and Tier-2. The Tier-2 Exam consists of Papers 1, 2, and 3, while the Tier-1 Exam is required of all candidates.

Paper 2 is for applicants seeking to become Junior Statistical Officers (JSOs) in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, Paper 3 is for those aiming to become Assistant Audit Officers or Assistant Accounts Officers, and Paper 1 is required for all posts.
SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern:
There are four sections and 100 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in the SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam, which is a computerized examination that allows for a maximum score of 200. Candidates have 60 minutes to complete the examination. It is significant to remember that the Tier-1 Exam is qualifying in nature, which means that the results will not be used in making the final decision.
