Physical Standards for Specific Posts:
Inspector (Central Excise/Examiner/Preventive Officer) & Inspector/Sub-Inspector in Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN):
Male Candidates:
- Height: 157.5 cm (Relaxable by 5 cm for Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and ST members)
- Chest: 81 cm (minimum expansion of 5 cm)
Physical Test:
- Walking: 1600 meters in 15 minutes
- Cycling: 8 km in 30 minutes (not applicable for Sub-Inspector in CBN)
Female Candidates:
- Height: 152 cm (Relaxable by 2.5 cm for Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and ST members)
- Weight: 48 kg (Relaxable by 2 kg for the same groups)
Physical Test:
- Walking: 1 km in 20 minutes
- Cycling: 3 km in 25 minutes (not applicable for Sub-Inspector in CBN)
Relaxations for Disabled Candidates
Orthopedically disabled candidates are exempt from the walking and cycling tests for specific disabilities (OA, OL, OAL).
