The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 to fill various Group 'B' and Group 'C' positions across different Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India. This examination will also cover roles in Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Tribunals, and other government entities. The Commission has asked for 17,727 vacancies.

To prevent any sort of confusion, eligible and interested candidates are expected to apply for the positions before the deadline. Application for the SSC CGL 2024 commenced on June 24, 2024, and will continue to be available until July 24, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. By July 25, 2024, at 11:00 p.m., candidates can complete payments online. The Correction Window will be accessible from 10th August 2024 to the very next day, i.e.; 11th August 2024 till 11:00 p.m.

The Commission has scheduled the Tentative Schedule of Tier-I (Computer-Based Examination) in September- October 2024. The Tentative Schedule of Tier-II (Computer-Based Examination) will be held in December 2024. The exact dates of the aforementioned examinations will be released later on at the official website of the Commission; sc.gov.in.

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC; ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: If you're a first-time user, create an account by providing the necessary details, such as an active phone number and email address.
Step 3: Enter the user ID and password that has been sent to your registered email address to access your account.
Step 4: Complete the SSC CGL application form carefully.
Step 5: Upload the necessary documents in the specified format and size. Ensure your photograph is in JPEG format and between 20 KB and 50 KB, and your signature is between 10 KB and 20 KB.
Step 6: Depending on your category, pay the application fee.
Step 7: Submit the form and download your SSC CGL 2024 online application.
