The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the application deadline for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL 2024). Candidates now have until July 27, 11 pm, to submit their applications on the official website, ssc.gov.in. This extension offers an additional opportunity for those who missed the initial deadline.

Previously, the last date to apply was July 24. Alongside this extension, the deadline for paying the exam fee has also been moved from July 25 to July 28. However, other dates and details in the exam notification remain unchanged.
Applicants must carefully review the eligibility criteria before applying. These criteria vary by post and include age limits and educational qualifications. It is crucial to read the exam notification thoroughly.
To apply, candidates need to pay a fee of ₹100. However, this fee is waived for women and candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and eligible Ex-servicemen (ESM).
The SSC CGL recruitment process involves a two-tier computer-based examination followed by document verification. After passing the computer-based tests, selected candidates will undergo document verification by user departments.
