SSB Recruitment 2020 For Assistant Commandant Posts, Apply Online Before March 23

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, has released an advertisement, invited online applications from qualified and interested Indian nationals for filling Ten (10) vacancies to the post of Assistant Commandant (Communication) under pay level 10 through direct recruitment to be posted anywhere in India or outside the territory of India. The application process towards the same started on February 22, 2020 and closes on March 22, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Assistant Commandant posts through SSB Recruitment 2020 must not have exceeded 35 years of age, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST/Central Govt. employees) and 3 years (OBC) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 400 (UR/OBC/EWS) as examination processing fee through online (net-banking/debit/credit, etc, payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/Women and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Assistant Commandant posts through SSB Recruitment 2020 must possess a Degree/B.E/B.Tech in Telecommunication Engineering/Electrical Communication Engineering/Electronics; must be a Associate Member of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer/ Institution of Engineers; possess an M.Sc in Electronics/Telecommunication/ Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent from a AICTE recognized University/Institution.

Candidates' with a NCC 'B' or 'C' Certificate will be given preference.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Assistant Commandant posts through SSB Recruitment 2020 will be done through the following stages:

Written Examination
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
Review Medical Examination (RME) and
Documentation and Interview/Personality Test

Candidates selected to Assistant Commandant posts through SSB Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month (Level 10).
