SSB Recruitment 2018: Apply Online For SI, ASI And Head Constable Posts

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released a recruitment notification for the posts of SI, ASI & Head Constable. The recruitment vacancies fall under the Group B and C Non-Gazetted (Combatised) in SSB. Candidates who passed with flying colours have to serve anywhere in the country.

Interested candidates have to meet all the prerequisites set by the SSB to apply online. The selected candidates will earn up to INR 35,400 per month. One can apply online between August 11 and September 9, 2018.

Age Limit

The age limit for the posts such as SI (Staff Nurse Female), ASI (Pharmacist, Operation Theatre Technician, Dental Technician and Radiographer) is 20 to 30 years. For posts, ASI (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) is 18 to 25 years. However, age relaxation is provided for SC, ST and OBC candidates.

Application Fee

INR 100 is required for ASI (Radiographer, Operation Theatre Technician, Pharmacist, Dental Technician, Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial). There is no fee for SI (Staff Nurse) post as only female candidates are eligible to apply and they are exempted from payment of exam fee.
