SSB HC (Ministerial) PET / PST Admit Card 2026 Released

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has officially released the SSB HC (Ministerial) PET / PST Admit Card 2026 on its official website. Candidates who have qualified in the earlier stages of the recruitment process can now download their admit cards to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) scheduled to be held on January 28, 2026.

SSB HC (Ministerial) PET / PST Admit Card 2026

The PET/PST is being conducted for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) posts under Advertisement Number 338/R&C/SSB/HC(Min)/2020. Candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre, as entry will not be permitted without these documents.

As per the official notification, the PET and PST will be conducted to assess candidates' physical fitness, endurance, and physical measurements, which are mandatory requirements for service in the Sashastra Seema Bal. The examination will be held at designated centres, and candidates are advised to report well before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.

Physical Standards (PST)

The Physical Standard Test includes verification of height and chest measurements. The standards vary based on category and region. Generally:

• Height (Male): Minimum 170 cm (relaxations applicable for candidates from hilly and tribal regions)
• Chest (Male): 80 cm (unexpanded) with minimum 5 cm expansion
• Height (Female): Minimum 157 cm (relaxations applicable as per rules)

Candidates failing to meet the prescribed physical standards will be disqualified at this stage and will not be allowed to proceed further in the recruitment process.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The PET evaluates the physical endurance of candidates through running events:

• Male Candidates: 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds
• Female Candidates: 800 metres run to be completed within 4 minutes

The PET is qualifying in nature, and no marks are awarded. However, qualifying this stage is mandatory to move forward in the selection process.
