SSA Recruitment 2019: 521 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) Vacancies In Delhi Schools

The Directorate of Education (Dte.) under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi has invited online applications from dynamic and eligible candidates for recruiting 521 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in specialised disciplines/subjects as part of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme for their appointment across its schools in the national capital.

Candidates shall be recruited on contractual basis till 31 March 2019. Application towards the same will be operational from 05 January 2015 from 1:00 pm onwards, with 13 January 2019 as the last date for submission.

Age Criteria

Candidates seeking application as TGTs for specific subjects must not have exceeded 30 years of age (General) in case of males and 40 years of age (General) in case of females as on 13 January 2019, with a relaxation of 5 years and 3 years for SC/ST and OBC candidates, respectively. In case of PWD candidates, the age relaxation will be for 10 years (General), 13 years for OBCs and 15 years in the case SC/ST applications.

Education Eligibility

Candidates applying for the post of TGT under various subjects/disciplines must have a Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 45% marks in aggregate in two school subjects, of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level:- (i) English, (ii) Mathematics, (iii) Natural/Physical Science, and (iv) Social Science or candidates must have a Post Graduation in any of the teaching subjects listed above with a working knowledge of Hindi dialect.

Those applying for language TGT posts must have a B.A (Honours) in one of the Modern Indian Languages (MIL) concerned, or a BA with MIL concerned as one of the Elective subjects from a recognized University with at least 45% marks in aggregate with one additional language or one school subject at the Degree Level.

Candidates are also required to possess a Degree/Diploma in teaching and a working knowledge of the Hindi dialect.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as TGTs for various subjects will be done based on the applicant's academic performance at different levels (X, XII or equivalent, Graduation and B.Ed.).
The selected candidates will be paid an emolument of Rs. 38,100/- per month.
