The Indian Railways through the Southern Railway has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for engaging Three Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy-Eight (3,378) vacancies to the post of Apprentices and Act Apprentices at Southern Railway in multiple trades to be deployed at Trichy, Coimbatore and Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India on a fulltime basis. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same started on June 01, 2021 and closes on June 30, 2021 by 5:00 pm.

Southern Railway Recruitment 2021: Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Southern Railway Apprentice Jobs 2021 through the Southern Railway Apprentices Recruitment 2021 must have attained 15 years of age and not have completed 22/24 years for Fresher's/Ex-ITI, MLT respectively as on June 01, 2021, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the Southern Railway Notification 2021.

Candidates interested in applying for Southern Railway Apprentice Jobs 2021 through the Southern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2021 must have passed Class 10/Matriculation with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate); Class 12/Intermediate under 10 +2 system of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate) and possess an ITI course in the relevant trade; passed +2 Std under 10 +2 system with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) for MLT Candidates from a recognised Board/University/Institution as detailed in Southern Railway Apprentice Notification 2021.
