Educational Qualifications For Southern Railway Recruitment

• For Freshers: Candidates should have passed class 10 under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent or should have passed Class 12 under 10+2 system of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
• For Ex. ITI: Candidates should have passed class 10 under 10+2 System of education and have done an ITI course in the relevant trade in government recognised ITI

Age Limit For Southern Railway Recruitment

• As on January 23, 2018

For Freshers Category

For Ex. ITI Category

The upper age is relaxable up to 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST
candidates and 10 years for persons with disability (PH).

Selection Process For Southern Railway Recruitment

• Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect with the marks obtained for the required qualification

Application Fee For Southern Railway Recruitment

• Candidates have to pay Rs.100 through Indian Postal order drawn in favor of the Workshop Personnel Officer, Carriage & Wagon Works, Southern Railway, Perambur, Chennai-600023. SC/ST/PWD/women candidates are exempted from the payment of processing fee
