South East Central Railway: Apply Online For 26 Group C Posts Under Sports Quota Before January 13

The Indian Railways, through the South East Central Railway (SECR), has invited online applications from eligible and interested sports persons for filling 26 Group C vacancies under Sports Quota in various categories comprising Athletics (Men and Women), Badminton (Men and Women), Basket Ball (Men and Women), Boxing (Women), Cricket (Men), Handball (Women), Hockey (Men), Kabaddi (Men), Kho-Kho (Men) and Volley Ball (Men). The online application process towards the same started on December 14, 2019 and closes on January 13, 2019 by 11:59 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Group C posts through South East Central Railway must have attained 15 years of age as on the date of notification and not be more than 25 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates as per the Govt. of India guidelines.
Candidates (all categories) are exempted from paying the application processing fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for Group C posts through South East Central Railway must have passed Matriculation/SSLC or equivalent with ITI in relevant trade; Class 12/Intermediate or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics; Graduation Degree from a recognised Board/University/Institution.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Group C posts through South East Central Railway will be done through Shortlisting, Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification.

Candidates selected for Group C posts through South East Central Railway will be paid emolument under Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 of 7th CPC respectively as per the designation.
