Sikkim Teachers Recruitment 2019 For 249 Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) In Multiple Disciplines

The Sikkim State Teachers' Recruitment Board (SSTRB) under the Govt. of Sikkim has invited applications in a prescribed proforma from eligible candidates for filling 249 vacancies to the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in multiple disciplines comprising English, Political Science, History, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Hindi, Nepali, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The application process towards the same will start from 11 February 2019 and will close on 08 March 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in multiple disciplines through Sikkim Teachers Recruitment 2019 must have attained 21 years of age, and not exceeded 40 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit to notified categories as applicable.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs 200/- payable at the State Bank of Sikkim only, under the revenue Head. For details, refer to the official notification provided at the end of the article.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in multiple disciplines through Sikkim Teachers Recruitment 2019 must possess a Post Graduation in Subject/Disciplines listed above, with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) from a recognized University/Institution. He/she must have completed B.Ed. from an Organization/Institute recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in multiple disciplines through Sikkim Teachers Recruitment 2019 will be done based on a Written Examination, Class Room Demo and Viva-voce (Interview).

Candidates selected as Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in multiple disciplines will be paid under Level 15, Cell 1 of Pay matrix of SGS.

How To Apply

Candidates applying for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in multiple disciplines through Sikkim Teachers Recruitment 2019 can collect/obtain the Application Form from the Sikkim State Teachers Recruitment Board (SSRTB) office in Upper Syari, Gangtok from 11 February 2019 onwards.

Candidates must fill the applications in a prescribed format and submit the same along with supporting documents/certificates as detailed in the notification on or before 08 March 2019 by 3:30 pm at the SSRTB office, Upper Syari, Gangtok.
