The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has announced an exciting recruitment drive for Officer positions in Grade A and B, offering a total of 72 vacancies across multiple streams.
This is a golden opportunity for candidates aiming to make a mark in India's financial sector. The majority of openings are in the General stream, with 50 positions for Grade A officers and 10 for Grade B officers. Additionally, specialized roles are available in fields like Legal and Information Technology, each offering 6 vacancies for Grade B.

- Phase I exam date: Scheduled after the application deadline.
- Phase II exams and interviews are tentatively set for February 2025.
How to apply for the SIDBI Officer positions?
- Visit the SIDBI website and register for the recruitment process.

- Pay the application fee (₹850 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, ₹175 for SC/ST).

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, or citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) from select countries.
- Age:
- Grade A: 21 to 30 years.
- Grade B: 25 to 33 years.
- Age relaxations apply for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD candidates.
- Education:
- Grade A: Minimum 60% in undergraduate degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Grade B: Minimum 60% in undergraduate degree or 55% in post-graduation, along with 5 years of relevant experience.
Salary Details
SIDBI Grade A Post
- The basic monthly salary starts at Rs. 44,500, with a pay scale progression of Rs. 44,500 - Rs. 74,450, with incremental hikes at various levels, leading to a final basic pay of Rs. 89,150 after 17 years. When factoring in allowances such as dearness, house rent, and other benefits, the total net salary for Grade A officers is approximately Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
SIDBI Grade B Post
- For Grade B Assistant Managers, the basic pay starts at Rs. 55,200, with a pay scale progression that leads to a maximum basic pay of Rs. 99,750 after 16 years. Including allowances and benefits, the net salary for Grade B officers is around Rs. 1,15,000 per month.
Selection Process
- Phase I: Online test covering English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and other subjects.
- Phase II: Descriptive and objective exams on domain-specific knowledge.
- Phase III: Psychometric Test and Interview to assess decision-making, communication skills, and professional achievements.
