Shoolini University has recently made headlines by earning a Silver rating in the Times Higher Education (THE) Online Learning Rankings (OLR) 2024, marking a significant achievement in the realm of online education. This accolade not only positions Shoolini University within the top 25 institutions worldwide for online learning but also highlights its status among the 11 prestigious universities to receive the Silver rating. The OLR 2024 stands as the first global effort to evaluate the quality of online education, offering a tier-based classification that includes Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Reporter Status, depending on the institution's performance and achievements.

The Center for Distance and Online Education (SCDOE) at Shoolini University, launched in November 2022, has rapidly established itself as a leader in online learning. It offers a variety of programs tailored to meet both student and industry needs, including MBA, MCA, MA in English Literature, BBA, and BCA. The university's approach to online education is distinguished by several innovative learning features. These include personalized learning paths focused on communication and job readiness, AI-enhanced custom learning experiences, gamified learning strategies, and unique opportunities like the Earn-While-You-Learn program. Shoolini University has also introduced a Pay-After-Placement model for its online degree programs, a first in India, further underlining its commitment to student success and job market preparedness.

In the inaugural Times Higher Education Online Learning Rankings, 120 universities were assessed globally, with categories ranging from Gold to Reporter Status based on their achievements in online education. Thirty-one institutions were placed in the Bronze tier, and 64 earned Reporter Status. Notably, Indian institutions such as Jindal Global University and Manav Rachna University outranked many globally reputed universities by securing Gold ratings. Others like Amity Noida, KLU, LPU, and Manipal Jaipur were acknowledged with Bronze ratings, showcasing the excellence and potential of Indian universities in the sphere of online learning.
