According to new rules announced by the Rajasthan government on Friday, regular classes for students in grades 6 to 8 will resume from September 20 in government and private schools with a 50% capacity. Class 1 to 5 will resume school activity from September 27 with a 50 percent capacity.
From September 1, the state government has already begun classes for students in grades 9 to 12. The morning assembly prayer and the opening of the school canteen are not permitted under the guidelines.
Government and private offices have been allowed to operate with full staff while adhering to Covid guidelines, which include wearing a mask, using a hand sanitiser, and keeping a safe distance.
Jharkhand Schools Reopening For Classes 6 To 8 From September 20
According to the Home Department's 'Three-layered public-discipline 6.0' guidelines, the entire state will be under a night curfew from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. every day. The order will go into force from September 20. Weddings and other marriage-related gatherings will henceforth be restricted to 200 people.
Cinemas and multiplexes can operate at full capacity from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., while yoga centres and gyms can operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. with employees who have received at least the first dose of vaccination. With the authorisation of the district collector, animal fairs will be permitted beginning September 20. Swimming pools have been authorised to open as of September 20 with staff have been given at least one dose of vaccine. The guidelines also include a number of other relaxations.
