SBI Sports Quota Recruitment 2024: Application process, Eligibility and more details

The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of 68 sportspersons for its 2024 Sports Quota. This recruitment includes 12 Officer positions and 51 Clerical Staff roles. The official notification was released on 23 July 2024, and online applications are open from 24 July to 14 August 2024. Pay the application fee if applicable.

Applicants need to pay a fee of Rs. 750/- if they belong to General, OBC, or EWS categories. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from this fee. Payments can be made online during the application process.

SBI Sports Quota Recruitment Process

The selection process for the SBI Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 involves shortlisting and an assessment test. The final merit list will be based on total marks obtained in various assessment parameters such as recognized sports achievements, general intelligence or knowledge of the game, personality traits, activeness, and physical fitness. The qualifying marks will be determined by the bank.

Eligibility

The recruitment is limited to eight sports disciplines: Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, and Badminton. Candidates must be graduates and recognized sportspersons to qualify for these positions. The age limit for Officers is between 21-30 years, while for Clerks it is between 20-28 years as of 1 April 2024. Age relaxation will be provided according to existing rules.
