The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a SBI PO notification, inviting online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling Two Thousand (2,000) vacancies to the post of Probationary Officers (PO) through direct recruitment to be posted at SBI branches across India on a fulltime basis in the pay scale of Rs. 23,700 to Rs. 42,020 a month. The registration-cum-application process towards the same started on November 14, 2020 and closes on December 4, 2020.

SBI PO Recruitment 2020: Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Probationary Officers (PO) posts through SBI Recruitment 2020 must have attained 21 years of age and not have exceeded 30 years as on April 1, 2020 as specified in the SBI PO Notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 750 (Gen/EWS/OBC) as application fee for Probationary Officers (PO) posts under SBI Recruitment 2020 through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only. However, SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee as mentioned in official SBI PO Notification given at the end of the article.

Desirous candidates applying for Probationary Officers (PO) posts through SBI Recruitment 2020 must possess a Graduation (any discipline) from a recognised University/Institution as mentioned in the SBI PO Notification.

SBI PO Recruitment 2020: Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Probationary Officers (PO) through SBI Recruitment 2020 will be done in three phases:

• Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)
• Phase-II: Main Examination (Objective & Descriptive Test)
• Phase-III: Cumulative Score and Merit

Candidates selected as Probationary Officers (PO) through SBI Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 23,700 to Rs. 42,020 per month as stated in the SBI PO Notification.
