The government-owned bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has released the probationary officers' (PO) main exam result today. According to the official advertisement, the result is expected to be released on August 20, 2018.

Candidates who have appeared for the PO main examination held on August 4 can check their result on the official website. The main exam is the second phase of the selection process after the preliminary examination, which was conducted in the month of July.

Step 2: Check the announcement section on the website.
Step 3: Click on the main exam result for SBI PO.
Step 4: A PDF will be displayed that consists of the details of the qualified candidates.
Step 5: Check your result by searching for your roll number.
Step 6: Take a printout of the result for future reference.

The SBI PO main examination is a computer-based examination that tests the candidates on their reasoning & computer aptitude, data analysis & interpretation, general & banking awareness and English language knowledge.

Candidates who have passed the SBI PO main examination with flying colours have to appear for the group exercises and an interview, which will be held between September and October.

The SBI PO recruitment notification was released in the month of April for around 2000 vacancies. The SBI PO preliminary examination was conducted in the first week of July. The selection process consists of preliminary, main examination followed by group exercises and an interview.
