SBI PO Prelims Admit Card 2025 to Release Soon at sbi.co.in – Exam Starts August 2

The State Bank of India (SBI) is all set to conduct the SBI PO Prelims 2025 from August 2 to 5, and the admit card is expected to be released soon on the official website - sbi.co.in.

This year, SBI announced 541 PO vacancies under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2025-26/04, and the online application process closed on July 14, 2025. With the exam just days away, candidates are eagerly waiting for the Prelims admit card, which is likely to be issued in the last week of July 2025.

How to Download SBI PO Admit Card 2025?

Once activated, candidates can download their admit cards using the steps below:

1. Visit https://sbi.co.in

2. Go to Careers > Current Openings

3. Find "Recruitment of Probationary Officers (CRPD/PO/2025-26/04)"

4. Click on the link for Prelims Call Letter

5. Enter your Registration Number and Password or Date of Birth

6. Download and print the admit card

Note: Carry a printed copy of the hall ticket, a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, etc.), and passport-size photographs to the exam centre.

Exam Pattern: SBI PO Prelims 2025

The Preliminary exam is an online objective test of 60 minutes, divided into three sections:

Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

No sectional cut-off, but candidates must clear the overall cut-off to qualify for Mains.

What to Check on the Admit Card?

Before appearing for the exam, ensure that the following details are accurate on your hall ticket:

• Candidate's name, roll number, and registration ID
• Exam date, shift timing, and reporting time
• Venue address and exam centre code
• Photograph and signature
• Important instructions for exam day

Exam Day Guidelines

• Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before reporting time
• Carry original photo ID and admit card (no soft copies allowed)
• Items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and books are strictly prohibited
• Follow all biometric verification and frisking procedures
• Read and follow instructions on the back of the admit card carefully

What Happens After Prelims?

Candidates who clear the Prelims will receive their Mains admit card in September 2025. The SBI PO Mains consists of both objective and descriptive sections. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the Group Exercise and Interview round, expected between October and November 2025.

The final merit list will be based on performance in Mains and Interview. Prelims is qualifying in nature and marks obtained in it will not be counted for the final result.
