SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2020 Announced, Check Result Link And Live Updates

The Bank has released the Clerk Preliminary result 2020 on October 20. As per the previous year's trends, SBI will release Clerk Prelims scorecard after a couple of days. Hence, candidates are advised to keep all the login details ready to download the SBI Clerk scorecard.

The Bank will prepare the merit list for state-wise and category-wise. Candidates who qualify in the Main examination will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories.

Candidates should score minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). The minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be decided by the SBI. There is no minimum qualifying marks for an individual subject.

The official information bulletin reads, "The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer."

The SBI Clerk Main exam consists of four sections - General/financial awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The total number of questions is 190 and maximum marks are 200. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The selection of the SBI Clerk will be based on the two-phase online written examination - Preliminary and Main. One who qualifies in the Online Preliminary exam will be called for the Mains exam. Marks secured in the Main exam only considered for the final selection.

Aspirants should note that SBI Clerk Prelims exam is qualifying in nature. The marks scored in the Prelims will not be considered for the final selestion. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.13075/- (Rs11765/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).
