This initiative ensures quality education for young learners and is exclusively available to Delhi residents. The application window opens on March 1, 2025, and closes on March 15, 2025.

  • Birth Certificate (to verify the child's age)
  • Residence Certificate (as proof of Delhi residency)
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable, for reserved category benefits)

Application Process & Guidelines for Parents

The DoE has set clear guidelines for parents to submit applications smoothly:

  • Application Forms: Available from the school principal during office hours or can be collected from the security guard at the school's entrance.
  • Clarifications & Queries: Parents are advised to directly contact the school principal for any assistance.
  • Submission Deadline: All applications must be submitted by March 15, 2025.

  • March 18: Schools will publish a list of applications with errors.
  • March 18-19: Parents can rectify mistakes in their application forms.
  • March 20: A computerized draw will be conducted for fair selection.
  • March 21: The final list of selected students will be announced.

Admission Process for Special Categories

For students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and Children with Special Needs (CWSN), the private school admission process has concluded. A computerized draw for these categories is scheduled for March 5, 2025.

Ensuring Fairness in School Allotments

The DoE reassures parents of a completely fair and unbiased admission system, ensuring that every child has an equal opportunity to receive quality education. Once the computerized draw is completed, selected students will be assigned schools, and parents will be notified via SMS about their child's admission status.
