The Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India (SAIL), has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling 205 Executive (Dy. Manager-Boiler and Turbine Op/Management Trainee-Fire/Jr. Manager-Safety/ Jr. Manager-Quality Testing Ultrasonic) and Non-Executive (Fire Operator/Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver/Operator-cum-Technician Trainees/Attendant-cum-Technician Trainees) posts through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same starts from July 10, 2019 and closes on July 31, 2019

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Executive and Non-Executive posts through SAIL Rourkela Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on July 31, 2019 and not have exceeded 28 years of age (MT/Fire Operator/Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver/Operator-cum-Technician Trainees/Attendant-cum-Technician Trainees posts), 30 years (Jr. Manager-Safety/Jr. Manager-Quality Testing Ultrasonic/Boiler Operator posts), and 37 years (Dy. Manager-Boiler and Turbine Op) respectively as detailed in the notification.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 500 (Executive posts), Rs. 250 (Fire Operator/Operator-cum-Technician Trainees/ Boiler Operator posts) and Rs. 150 (for Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee and Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver posts) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) SBI Collect mode. However, SC/ST/ESM and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Executive and Non-Executive posts through SAIL Rourkela Recruitment 2019 must have passed Class 10/SSC or equivalent; ITI/Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in relevant trade/branch of Engineering from a recognized Board/University/Institute with desirable work experience in the concerned area.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Executive and Non-Executive posts through SAIL Rourkela Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Written Test (objective type), Skill/Trade Test and Certificate Verification.

Candidates shortlisted for Executive and Non-Executive posts will be paid an emolument in the range of Rs. 15,830 to Rs. 58,000 per month as per the designation.
