The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a 'Maharatna' central public sector enterprise (CPSE), has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling 300 vacancies to the post of Management Trainees (Technical) in various engineering streams comprising Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Instrumentation, Electrical and Mining through direct recruitment to be posted at SAIL unit in Delhi or any of its units in India. The application process towards the same started on November 25, 2019 and closes on December 15, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Management Trainees post through SAIL Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not have exceeded 28, with relaxation (upper age limit) to SC/ST and OBC - NCL categories as applicable.

Candidates must pay a specified amount Rs. 1,500 (Gen/OBC and others) and Rs. 750 (SC/ST/PWD and Females) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Management Trainees post through SAIL Recruitment must possess a Degree/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Instrumentation, Electrical and Mining engineering disciplines with minimum 65% marks from a AICTE/UGC recognised University/Institute as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Management Trainees post through SAIL Recruitment will be done based on the candidates' GATE 2019 score in the relevant engineering stream/paper and Interview.

Candidates selected for Management Trainees post SAIL Recruitment will be paid emolument as per SAIL norms.
