The Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) in Odisha has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for filling 62 Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) vacancies in multiple trades comprising Fitter, Electrician, Instrumentation and Welder to be posted at its workstations in Odisha. The application process towards the same starts from March 08, 2019 and closes on April 08, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Attendant-cum-Technician post through SAIL Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on April 08, 2019 and must not have exceeded 28 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit to reserved categories as per Govt. of India guidelines.

Candidates belonging to Gen/OBC/EWS categories must pay prescribed amount of Rs. 150 as application fee either through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways) mode or through a System generated Challan Form payable at any SBI branch.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) through SAIL Recruitment 2019 must have passed Matriculation/Class 10 or equivalent with ITI in relevant trade of Fitter/ Electrician/ Welder/ Instrumentation from a Govt. recognized institute and approved by bodies like UGC/AICTE/NCVT/SCTE&VT.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) through SAIL Recruitment 2019 will be done based on a Written Test and Skill/Trade Test.

Candidates selected as Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) will be paid in the range of Rs. 8,600 to Rs. 10,000 per month (Training Period). On regularization they will be paid in the scale of Rs.15,830 to Rs. 22,150 per month
