SAIL Recruitment 2018: Apply Online For 156 Technician Vacancies

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a Maharatna Company and a leading steel-making company in India, has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Operator-cum-Technician and Attendant-cum-Technician. IISCO Steel Plant, a unit of SAIL, invites online applications for the posts for its Integrated Steel Plant at Burnpur in West Bengal.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the written examination. The selected candidates will earn up to INR 24,110 per month. However, the pay scale and grade will be decided after successful completion of two years training period. Candidates have to satisfy all the eligibility conditions to apply online for the recruitment. The last date to apply is December 14, 2018.

Operator-cum-Technician: 126 vacancies
Attendant-cum-Technician: 30 vacancies

Age Limit

The upper age limit for both Operator-cum-Technician and Attendant-cum-Technician posts is 28 years. The age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years will be provided to OBC and SC/ST candidates, respectively. Age relaxation is also provided to PWD candidates.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay INR 250 as the application fee for the post of Operator-cum-Technician. It is INR 150 for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician. There is no application fee for the SC, ST and PWD candidates.
