SAIL Careers: Apply Online For 463 Operator-Cum-Technician And AITT Posts Before October 11

The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a 'Maharatna' Central PSU, through its Bokaro Steel Plant (BSP) in Jharkhand, has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 463 vacancies to post of Operator-cum-Technician Trainees, Operator-cum-Technicians (Boiler) and Attendant-cum-Technician Trainees (AITT) in various streams comprising Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical, Chemical, Ceramics and Instrumentation through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same started on September 20, 2019 and closes on October 11, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Operator-cum-Technician and AITT posts through SAIL Careers must not have exceeded 28 years of age (for Operator-cum-Technician Trainees and Attendant-cum-Technician Trainees) and 30 years of age (for Operator-cum-Technician-Boiler) respectively as on October 11, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC-NCL) and 5 years (SC/ST) respectively.

Candidates (General/OBC/EWS) must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 250 for Operator-cum-Technician Trainee and Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler) posts, and Rs. 150 for Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee posts as application processing fee through online "State Bank Collect" mode only. However, SC/ST/PWD/ ESM and Departmental candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Operator-cum-Technician and AITT posts through SAIL Careers must have passed Matriculation/Class 10 or equivalent with Diploma (three years) in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramics & Instrumentation engineering disciplines; certificate in Boiler Competency (first class); passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT (AITT posts) as detailed in the notification here https://www.sailcareers.com/media/uploads/Website_Advt_HRP_19-20_-_16_09_2019_2.pdf

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Operator-cum-Technician and AITT posts through SAIL Careers will be done through Written Examination and Skill/Trade Test as applicable.

Candidates selected for Operator-cum-Technician and AITT posts through SAIL Careers will be paid emolument in range of Rs. 15,830 to Rs. 24,110 per month.
