RSMSSB Announces CET 2024 Notification OUT: Registration Begins August 9

The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has announced the notification for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2024. Eligible candidates can register for the CET starting August 9, 2024, on the official RSMSSB website at rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The registration deadline is September 9, 2024. This test aims to facilitate admissions to various undergraduate medical, dental, Ayurvedic, and Homeopathy programmes in state institutes.

  • Notification Date: August 6, 2024

  • Registration End Date: September 9, 2024
  • CET (Graduate Level) Exam Dates: September 25-28, 2024
  • CET (Senior Secondary Level) Exam Dates: October 23-26, 2024
  • Exam City Intimation Slip Release: Second week of September 2024
  • Admit Card Release: Third week of September 2024

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: A graduation degree or its equivalent.
  • Age: Between 18 and 40 years old as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxations apply according to government rules.

Application Process

Candidates must purchase an online PIN to avoid transaction failures during registration. The process involves filling out the registration form, providing necessary details, and paying the application fee. It's essential to use the same bank account for refund transactions. Document verification and submission of photocopies are scheduled for August 14, 2024.

  • Visit the official RSMSSB website: rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
  • Click on the registration link available from August 9, 2024.
  • Complete the registration form with the required details and upload necessary documents.
  • Pay the application fee online.
  • Verify all details and submit the application form.

Application Fees

  • General/OBC/EBC(CL): ₹600
  • BC/EBC(NCL), EWS: ₹400
  • SC/ST: ₹400
  • Disabled Applicants: ₹400

Exam Details

The CET will feature 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying equal marks, with a total score of 300. The duration of the exam is three hours. For every incorrect answer, one-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as negative marking.

Qualifying Marks

  • SC/ST Categories: 35%
  • General/OBC/EWS Categories: 40%
