The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is inviting candidates to make modifications to their application forms for the upcoming recruitment drive aimed at filling constable and sub-inspector (SI) positions. Interested candidates who have already registered can update their application forms until May 24 via the official website, rrbapply.gov.in.

To access the modification portal, applicants need their registration number and date of birth. Each modification incurs a fee of Rs 250.
Key Recruitment Details
The recruitment drive seeks to fill a total of 4,440 vacancies, which include:
- 452 sub-inspector posts
- 4,208 constable posts
Eligibility Criteria
Constable Position
Candidates must have completed their Class 10 exams from a recognized board or institution.
Age limit: 18 to 28 years.
Sub-Inspector Position
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
Age limit: 20 to 28 years.
Selection Process and Salary Information
The selection process includes:
- A computer-based test (CBT).
- A Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
- Document verification.
Selected candidates for the sub-inspector posts will receive a monthly salary of Rs 35,400, while those selected for constable positions will earn Rs 21,700 per month.
Focus on Women's Reservation
In an effort to promote gender diversity, the RPF has reserved 15% of the total posts for women candidates. This initiative reflects the department's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
