RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026: Apply for 590 Vacancies Under CEN 05/2026

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are accepting applications for 590 Paramedical Category posts under CEN 05/2026. The online registration process began on September 15, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply through the official RRB recruitment portal until October 14, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

The last date for fee payment is October 16, while the application modification window will be available from October 17 to 26, 2026.

The recruitment covers several healthcare-related positions, including Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist, Health and Malaria Inspector Grade II, Radiographer, ECG Technician and Lab Assistant Grade II.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026: Post-Wise Vacancies

A total of 590 vacancies have been notified across nine paramedical categories.

The largest share of vacancies is for Nursing Superintendent, with 365 posts, followed by Pharmacist (Entry Grade) with 118 posts.

The dates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be announced separately by the Railway Recruitment Boards.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

Candidates in the applicable general category have to pay an examination fee of ₹500. Of this amount, ₹400 will be refunded after the candidate appears for the CBT, after deduction of applicable bank charges.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, female, transgender, minority and Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories have to pay ₹250. This amount is also refundable after appearing in the CBT, subject to applicable bank charges.

Only candidates who actually appear for the CBT are eligible for the prescribed fee refund.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through the stages prescribed in CEN 05/2026. The recruitment process includes a Computer-Based Test, followed by further stages such as document verification and the applicable medical examination, depending on the post.
