Application process

  • Visit the Official Website: Go to rrbapply.gov.in.
  • Register: Click on the application link and enter your details like name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
  • Log In: Use the credentials sent to your email to complete your application.
  • Fill Out the Form: Provide all necessary information, upload documents, and select your preferred positions and locations.
  • Pay the Fee: Choose from the online payment options available.

Application Fees

  • For SC, ST, female, PwBD, transgender, ex-servicemen, minority, and EBC candidates: ₹250
  • For all other candidates: ₹500
  • Fee Refund: A partial refund is available for those who appear for the CBT.

  • Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor (CCTS) - 1,736 positions
  • Station Master - 994 positions
  • Goods Train Manager (GTM) - 3,144 positions
  • Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist (JAAT) - 1,507 positions
  • Senior Clerk cum Typist - 732 positions

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years old.
  • Educational Qualification: A degree from a recognized university or its equivalent is required for all positions.

Selection Process

  • Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Stage 2: Additional tests depending on the role, such as the Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for Station Master positions or a Typing Skill Test (TST) for Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist roles.
  • Final Stages: Document verification and medical examination for some roles.
