RPSC School Lecturer Recruitment 2025: 3,225 Vacancies Announced – Apply Online at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially released the notification for School Lecturer (1st Grade Teacher) Recruitment 2025, announcing a total of 3,225 vacancies in various subjects across government senior secondary schools in the state.
Interested candidates can apply online from August 14 to September 12, 2025, at the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
Subject-Wise Vacancy Distribution
RPSC has opened vacancies for a wide range of subjects including:
- Hindi - 710 posts
- English - 307 posts
- General Grammar (Hindi & Sanskrit) - 280+ posts
- History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Economics, Commerce
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics
- Drawing, Music, Home Science
- Physical Education & Sports Coaching - various categories (Athletics, Boxing, Judo, etc.)
This large-scale recruitment will help strengthen faculty in schools and promote quality education across Rajasthan.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- A postgraduate degree in the relevant subject is mandatory.
- B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification is required.
- For Sports Coach/Physical Education roles, qualifications like M.P.Ed., Diploma in Physical Education, or NIS certification are needed.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 40 years (as of January 1, 2026)
- Relaxation is applicable for reserved categories per Rajasthan Government norms.
Language Proficiency:
- Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script
- Familiarity with Rajasthani culture is essential.
Selection Process
The selection for School Lecturer posts involves a written examination comprising two papers:
- Paper I (General Awareness & Studies) - 150 marks, 1.5 hours
- Paper II (Subject Specific) - 300 marks, 3 hours
Both papers consist of objective-type questions. A negative marking of ⅓ mark will be applicable for each wrong answer.
Candidates applying for sports coach posts will also be awarded bonus marks for relevant achievements at recognized sports levels.
