Results are out for Combined Defence Services Examination

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of CDS (Combined Defence Services) examination. The result was declared on the basis of examination conducted by UPSC in February, 2013 and SSB interviews held by Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence.\

The exam was conducted for the admission of candidates to the 136th course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course.

As per the government, the number of vacancies available are - 250 for Indian Military Academy [including 32 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate (Army Wing) holders], 40 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala -[Hydro/Executive General Service including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate (Naval Wing) holders] and 32 Air Force Academy Hyderabad.
