The Mukhya Mantri Shodh Protsahan Yojana has been approved by the Uttarakhand Cabinet. Under this scheme, research scholars will receive a grant of up to Rs 15 lakh.The Uttarakhand Cabinet has given its approval for the Mukhya Mantri Shodh Protsahan Yojana, which will provide research scholars with a grant of up to Rs 15 lakh.

At a press briefing, Chief Secretary SS Sandhu informed reporters that the scheme was approved by the Cabinet during a meeting led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.The program will start this academic session and aims to promote research in various areas such as humanities, social sciences, language and literature, environment, Uttarakhand development, science, tourism, current issues and engineering.
Incentives for sportspersons and candidates appearing for competitive exams
The Cabinet has made the decision to offer government positions to athletes from the state who achieve medals in national and international competitions. In addition, they have decided to provide a 50 percent discount on bus fares for candidates traveling from their homes to examination centers for competitive exams conducted by various boards in Uttarakhand.
