Registration for Engineering Services Examination by UPSC started

UPSC has issued notification for Engineering Services Examination. The IES examination will be conducted for four engineering streams, that is, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

The registration has been started on the official site of UPSC. This exam is conducted to select candidates for Indian Engineering Services (IES).

Eligibility:

• Candidate must have obtained degree in engineering in the relevant branches from a recognized university
• Candidates appearing in final year of engineering are also eligible
• Age criteria for UPSC ESE, minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age should be 30 years

• Fill up all the details
• Make the payment if you need to
• Select the center
• Upload photo and signature
• Submit the form after agreeing to declaration

Selection Process:

• Selection will be based on examination conducted in three stages
• Preliminary exam will have two papers of three hours each
• The main exam will have two papers based on engineering discipline of three hours each
• Final round will have personality test/Interview
