Registration Date for IIT JAM 2023 Extended Till 14 October 2022;Know Dates, Application Fee, Tips & more

IIT JAM 2023 Registration: The last date for IIT JAM 2023 has been extended till October 14, 2022. Candidates can apply online through the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitg.ac.in or click here.

Earlier, the last date to apply for the examination was till October 11, now, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has extended IIT JAM 2023 registration date till 14 October 2022.

IIT JAM 2023: Important Dates

Admit Card Release Date: 10 January 2023
IIT JAM 2023 Exam Date: 12 February 2023
IIT JAM 2023 Result Date: 22 March 2023.

Subjects in IIT JAM 2023 Exam

The IIT Joint Admission test for Masters will be a computer based test (CBT) mode. It will be held in seven different subjects including Biotechnology (BT), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Physics (PH). Candidates can apply for JAM 2023 only through JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).

IIT JAM 2023: Application Fee

Candidates can appear for either one or two test papers.

• To appear in this IIT JAM exam, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1800 for one paper and Rs 2500 for two papers.
• Female candidates belonging to all categories, SC, ST and PwD candidates will have to pay Rs 900 for one paper and Rs 1250 for two papers.

How to apply for IIT JAM 2023?

Candidates are advised to follow the below-given steps to apply for IT JAM 2023 Examination.
1. Go to the official site of IIT JAM at jam.iitg.ac.in or click here.
2. On the homepage, click on the JAM 2023 Application Portal and register yourself.
3. After successful registration, fill in the application form and upload all the required documents in the mentioned format.
4. Pay the required application fee online. Submit the form and download. Keep the hard copy of the same for future use.

JAM 2023 Scores will be used for admissions to over 2300 seats by various CFTIs including NITs, IISc, IISER Pune, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET.

Tips for Preparation for IIT JAM 2023

1. Understand the Exam Pattern thoroughly.

2. Cover the IIT JAM Syllabus word by word. Do not leave any topic untouched. Keep a track of your progress.

3. Solve previous year question papers of IIT JAM Exam. It is very important for the applicants to be aligned with the type of questions asked in exam.

4. Keep your resources limited and make short notes for revision.
