REET Exam Date 2021: Application Form For EWS Category Released

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has postponed the REET 2021 exam again. The REET 2021 written exam will be held on September 26, 2021 (Sunday). Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra has announced the REET exam date 2021. Minister also said that applications for EWS candidates will be accepted between June 21 and July 5, 2021. Earlier, the exam authority has postponed the REET 2021 exam scheduled on June 20 in view of the rising COVID-19 cases. Aspirants are advised to keep following the official portal for the latest updates.

Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra tweeted, REET has been decided to conduct the exam on 26th September. Applications for EWS candidates will be accepted from 21st June to 5th July. Very soon the Board of Secondary Education will release the schedule."

In December 2020, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot has announced during the budget session that the REET 2021 exam will be held on April 25. The Board has revised the exam date to June 20 to provide another chance to apply for the students belonging to economically weaker sections (EWS).

REET 2021 Application Form For EWS Category

The RBSE has released the REET application form 2021 for candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Aspirants can apply for REET 2021 between June 21 and July 5 on the official website - bserexam.com or reetbser21.com.

Every year, the REET exam will be conducted once or twice a year for filling up teaching positions in the government schools of Rajasthan. The exam authority will conduct the REET 2021 exam in two sessions and there will be two papers for the same. Paper 1 will be conducted for those candidates who wish to teach Class 1 to Class 5. Paper 2 is conducted for those who aspire to teach Class 6 to Class 8.
