The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has postponed the Assistant recruitment exam for 2023. Candidates who have registered for the exam can view the amended schedule at opportunities.rbi.org.in.

The preliminary examination is now scheduled to take place on November 18 and 19. Previously, the exam was slated to take place from October 21 to 23. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be able to take the main exam, which is tentatively set for December 31.
The official notice reads, "...the dates for the conduct of Online Preliminary Test have been changed due to administrative exigencies. Consequently, the date for the Online Main Test has also been postponed."

This period of delay can be used as an opportunity by the candidates to continue with their revision and stay prepared. Since the competition for the RBI Assistant exam is huge, stretching across the nation, this extra time can be used constructively to strengthen the weaker areas, take mock tests, and build confidence. This helps in augmenting the success rate in the actual exam.
