Railway Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 306 ALP And Technician Grade-III Posts In Western Railway

The Indian Railways, through RRC Western Railway, Mumbai, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 306 Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) and Technician Grade-III posts in multiple trades comprising Carpenter, Carriage and Wagon, Diesel Electrical, Diesel Mechanical, Electrical/Power, Electrical/Train Lighting, Electrical/TRD, Fitter, Machinist, Welder, etc, through direct recruitment in the form of GDCE. The registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from October 12, 2019 and closes on November 11, 2019 by 6:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for ALP and Technician Grade-III posts through Railway Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on January 1, 2020 and not have exceeded 42 years of age (Gen/UR), 45 years (OBC) and 47 years (SC/ST) respectively as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for ALP and Technician Grade-III posts through Railway Recruitment 2019 must have passed Matriculation/SSLC or equivalent with ITI in relevant trade; Diploma (three years) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile engineering from a NCVT/SCVT recognised University/Institution as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to ALP and Technician Grade-III posts through Railway Recruitment 2019 will be done through GDCE Test comprising of Computer-Based Test (CBT), Documentation and Medical Examination as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates selected to ALP and Technician Grade-III posts through Railway Recruitment 2019 will be paid an emolument of Rs. 19,900 per month (initial).
